The European Youth Summit, symbolically called ‘100 for the Next 100 in the Danube Region’, will take place from 4 to 8 June in Sarajevo. It will gather 100 young leaders from countries in the Danube region and Eastern Europe.
Participants in the Summit will have the chance to discuss the nature of the challenges facing Europe today and countries in this region, with each other and with key decision makers from the political and social society and academia.
The second aspect of the Summit is workshops where participants will be given the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills in a wide range of areas.
Organizers of the event are associated members of the European Forum Alpback from the region-young, educated and enthusiasts who are open minded from Croatia (Club Alpbach Croatia), Serbia (Club Alpbach Belgrade), Montenegro (Initiative Group Alpbach Podgorica) and B&H (Initiative Group Alpbach Sarajevo). They will gather around common ideas-to contribute to the development of the region and position of young people in it.
Partners of the project are the European Forum Alpbach, Danube Competence Center, and the University of Sarajevo, announced IGAS.
