A young Bosnian mathematician Adisa Bolić won a gold medal at the European Cup Sciences.
Among more than 120 participants from high schools from all over Europe, Adisa from the “Una-Sana College” in Bihac won the maximum number of points and won gold, writes NAP.
European Mathematical Cup is organized by the Young talented mathematicians from Croatia, tasks are done in the home countries under the strict control of the instructor and then sent to the evaluation in Croatia.
Beside Adisa Bolić, excellent results have been achieved by the BH mathematicians Tijana Babic, Zlatko Lagumdzija Salko, Amar Kurić, Milica Babic …
Excellent results are achieved and Demir Papic and Neira Kurtovic.
“I owe most to my professors, the former Olympians Beširević Admir, Hindija Harun and Nermin Hodzic, who have been taught me what they know about math,” says Bolić for NAP.
This is the first international competition which Adisa Bolić attended and therefore gold medal for her has an even greater value.
