Drivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) paid around 1.7 million BAM per day to country from purchased fuel at petrol stations.
A total of 620.7 million BAM was collected last year on the basis of tolls on oil and petroleum products, was stated by the Indirect Taxation Authority.

The second part of road tolls are for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads, and is characterized by special coefficients, in the way that the Federation of BiH received 59 percent, the Republika Srpska 39 percent and the Brcko District 2 percent. The Federation was allocated 188.5 million BAM, Republika Srpska 124.6 million BAM and Brčko District 6.4 million BAM.
In addition, UIO collected revenues from excise duties on oil and oil derivatives in the amount of 499.8 million BAM. These revenues are distributed to beneficiaries with all other revenues from indirect taxes, FBiH, Republika Srpska and Brcko District.
