Yesterday, a contract worth almost 10 million BAM was signed between Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro AD Podgorica and BH company Euro-Asfalt as a consortium leader, which gathers GIP Konstruktor Belgrade and Makspro Belgrade.
The subject of the Contract is the reconstruction of six large slopes on the railway line Vrbnica – Bar, and it includes the main project as well as all construction works (preparatory and finishing, earth, steel, concrete and reinforced concrete).
The contract was signed by Hamed Ramic, Director General of Euro-Asfalt Ltd. Sarajevo on behalf of the consortium and Director General Milan Colakovic on behalf of the Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro.
Ramic thanked for the confidence that was shown to the consortium that he represents and he also expressed hope that the cooperation between institutions of Montenegro and BH companies will be continued. He also expressed his belief that they will end works within the deadline of 20 months.
This is the second valuable contract that Euro-Asfalt has signed in Montenegro.
To recall, a contract worth more than 80 million BAM was signed for the construction and reconstruction of 14 kilometers long section on the site Lubnice – Jezerine (Berane – Kolasin) at the end of the last year.
The construction site was opened in May this year in the presence of a delegation of Montenegro, which included the prime minister of that state.
