The President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Milorad Dodik, appointed the question today on how is the opposition in Republika Srpska (RS) going to form a majority in Parliament when they are, as he says, falling apart.
Dodik believes that the currently ruling coalition in RS is stable.
He claims that the announcements of opposition regarding formation of a new parliamentary majority in RS, is just an attempt to draw away attention from “what they are doing in Sarajevo.”
The Prime Minister of RS, Željka Cvijanović, told reporters that the announcement of opposition in RS is “unserious”.
She added that the current government has a majority, and that they are working on adopting strategic and reform documents.
For the president of the Socialist Party, Petar Djokić, the claims of opposition regarding the new parliamentary majority are nothing more than a speculation.
The new parliamentary majority, he says, will not happen.
“I cannot believe that the opposition can come out in public with such information, because there is no information that someone who takes part in the existing parliamentary majority has changed its side”, – said Djokić, adding that the current majority in parliament of RS is stable.
