The 10th consecutive Days of Architecture with the topic “Continuous interior” will start on May 17, with video mapping of the National Museum of BiH, which was done in the production Lift + Blow Up + Walter + Billain.
Trough the exhibition “Continuous Interior” are explored the best architectural practices, intriguing ideas and border formation (architectural, political and geographical) in the area from Switzerland in the north to Turkey in the south of Europe.
Lecturers on this year’s Days of Architecture will be Lebanese architect Bernard Khoury, OFIS architects from Slovenia, MDH architects from Norway and Dinko Peracic from Croatia.
Days of Architecture in Sarajevo represent a regional platform that continuously works in the active education of professionals in the field of architecture and design through various events, as well as encouragement of networking among architects in the region and promotion of discussion about architecture and space throughout the whole year.
The Central Annual Event, the festival Days of Architecture Sarajevo, represents one of the most important regional festivals of architecture. The program of the festival includes different lectures held by international and local architects, as well as discussions, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings and other events related to the topics of architecture, design, urbanism and spatial planning.
Days of Architecture were held in different formats in over 20 locations in Sarajevo over 10 years, hosted more than 100 experts from numerous European countries, hosted over 50 exhibitions, workshops and film screenings.
The importance of this year’s 10th jubilee was further emphasized with the opening program and numerous novelties within the festival, as well as a visual identity that emphasized number 10 within a continuous line network.
