UK Minister of State for Europe David Lidington advocates that the EU does not make the intermission in their enlargement plans after the Croatian accession.
In article he wrote for the Internet magazine ”Public Service of Europe”, he analyzed the situation in each of the Western Balkan countries in particular.
Commenting on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he said that the EU is concerned by the slow progress of BiH and the lack of reforms.
He warned that ”BiH is risking further lagging behind its neighbours, unless the politicians do something about it, and they promised it to the citizens of BiH.”
”The continuation of the reform process in BiH has multiple benefits to citizens of BiH, including greater prosperity”, said Lidington.
