Representatives of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe from 24th until 26th September will consider the implementations of the judgments and the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, including the judgment “Sejdić–Finci”.
The supervisory role of the Committee of Ministers is due to the Article 46 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The cases that have been proposed for a more detailed review are Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Decisions and resolutions adopted by the working documents will be posted on the website of the Committee of Ministers shortly after the meeting.
Information on the status of execution in all cases pending before the Committee of Ministers can be found on the website of the Department for the execution of judgments of the European Court for Human Rights, was announced by the Council of Europe.
