B&H will soon be clean and more environmentally friendly, and this is the result of cooperation of the biggest waste collectors and “Eko život”, the authorized B&H system operator for the treatment of packaging waste.
After obtaining a license from the FB&H Ministry for Tourism and Environment, “Eko život” immediately began with the realization of all activities.
One of the activities is the beginning of cooperation with collectors of all types of waste in the FB&H.
On this occasion, a working meeting has been organized where contracts were signed between collectors (“ALBA” d.o.o. Zenica, “EKO FORMA” d.o.o. Bugojno, “EKO SERVIS” d.o.o. Mostar, “EKO SIROVINA” d.o.o. Tuzla) and “Eko život” on cooperation in the field of care for all types of packaging waste disposal. This cooperation has its economic but socially responsible dimension. Forms of innovative methods and practices of collecting waste in B&H have been considered, as well as the opportunities for cooperation with local communities, NGO sector and local media.
At this meeting, “Eko život” pledged to be a partner of waste collectors in all parts of B&H and in all forms of care on waste, and will undertake a series of activities in cooperation with local communities in order to strengthen social and cultural awareness of the care on waste and environmental standards.
To this end, a series of concrete activities and actions with the local community and collectors has been agreed. The first such action of this kind will be held in cooperation with ‘Eko Form’ in Bugojno at the end of May, and then an action in other cities in B&H will follow.
