With the help of the Association of demobilized soldiers of the City of Tuzla, donors and funds from the Current Reserve of the Mayor of the City of Tuzla, a house is being built in the local community Solina for two demobilized soldiers, brothers Sead and Džemal Mustačević.
Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović visited the construction site where works are in progress.
“We have a number of social problems, not only in veteran population, and that is the reason for strong social measures. When you add funds for short-term assistance allocated for veterans in the City budget and compare it with the amount that twelve municipalities in the Tuzla Canton allocate multiplied by two, the result is that the City of Tuzla still allocates twice as much funds for veterans than all other municipalities together. That is the reason why 90 percent of the budget of the Current Reserve, with which I dispose right now in accordance with legal authorization, is being spent for social needs. Funds are intended for persons in difficult social and health condition. This is one of the projects financed from the Current Reserve,” said Imamović.
According to Mirza Ahmić, President of the ODB Tuzla, works are progressing very well with the help of contractors, companies which donated material and machines, YTONG, Tehnograd Company, TOM CAT, and a large number of young citizens who feel gratitude for people who defended BiH. Entire house is walled, the second floor is being built now, and the coming stages are roof construction and internal works, so that brothers Mustačević could move in their new home in September.
ODB Tuzla invites other organizations to donate material for this and next actions they are preparing.
