The 54th International Conference on Security started yesterday in Munich, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, was one of the participants of this event.
A total of 30 statesmen and governments took part on this conference, and its main topics refered to discussions on main international security challenges and they were focused on threats to international liberal order, conflicts on the Middle East and the control of arms with a special accent on nuclear program of North Korea.
The conference started with an introductory speech of the Chairman of the Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger, and then German and French Ministers of Defense Ursula von der Leven and Florence Parly addressed the attendees, as well as the Secretary General of UN Antonio Guteress and Emir of the state of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Chairman Zvizdic also attended the panel on the future of the EU as a global factor and the one that was dealing with the topic of relations with Russia and the US.
The very first Munich Security Conference was held back in 1962.
