The Telegraph claims that it is difficult to expect Chelsea to sell Asmir Begović to West Ham in January, although Slaven Bilić is a serious customer.
According to the situation, the Blues will not do it because in case Asmir leaves they would be left with the Portuguese Eduardo, who would be the second goalkeeper.
Ever since he came to Chelsea, Begović has been the second option, patiently waiting for a chance instead of the undisputed Thibaut Courtois, who defends amazingly. In the past season, Begović defended 17 matches instead of Courtois because of his injury, while this time he is active in cups.
Begović’s shape has not been on an enviable level lately, which is confirmed by the defenses in cup matches he recently performed in.
