Senol Dogan, a PhD candidate at the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering at the Burch University, is the winner of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) award.
Dogan presented his research at the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) as part of his PhD thesis on the topic of cancer treatment, within the conference which was held from the 1st to 4th of November 2015 in Liverpool.
More than a thousand researchers from all around the world participated on the conference. Some of the lecturers were winners of the Nobel Prize. EACR award was given to participants from the three countries, B&H, France and the Netherlands.
Besides the award, Senol got a free membership in EACR. Also, he had the opportunity to talk about his research in B&H with eminent researchers. NCRI Committee invited Senol to attend the conference that will be held next year in Manchester.
Senol Dogan is a professor of biology at “Sarajevo College.”
