Student of Middle Electrical Engineering School Sead Smailagic won bronze medal at the World Microsoft Office Specialist competition that was held from July 29 to August 1, this year in Florida, the USA.
This young man from Tuzla won the third place in the category of Excel 2016, and besides a Microsoft certificate, he also received a cash prize in the amount of 1,500 USD.
The Microsoft Office Specialist represents a global competition that tests the skills of participants in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and besides Smailagic, our country was also represented by Almedin Beganovic and Tarik Dzambic, who are also students of the aforementioned high school.
Smailagic will attend the fourth grade in September, and he said that this bronze medal from the world championship is very important for him.
“This was a really unique experience for me. I participated in the world competition for the first time ever and I am very proud of this result. I believe that this experience will help me in my further development,” stated Smailagic.
“The atmosphere on this competition was great, and the competition was really strong. All of this was further contributed by friendly ambiance, and we will go on a field trip soon,” said Almedin Beganovic.
