In 10 months, Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth about 8.59 billion BAM, which is 11.2% less compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to about 13.92 billion BAM, which is less by 14, 8% compared to 10 months last year.
The coverage of imports by exports amounted to 61.7%, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to about 5.32 billion BAM, the Agency for Statistics of BiH stated in the press release.
Exports to CEFTA countries in 10 months amounted to about 1.36 billion BAM, which is less by 13.4% compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to 1.77 billion BAM, which is less by 11.7% compared to 10 months 2019.
The coverage of imports by exports with CEFTA countries was 77%.
In the 10 months of this year, compared to the same period last year, exports to EU countries decreased by 11.1%, and amounted to about 6.26 billion BAM, while imports decreased by 15.4% and amounted to about 8, 46 billion BAM. The coverage of imports by exports with EU countries was 74%.
