Government of Bosnia-Herzegovina has lifted visa restrictions on Omanis on the advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement added that Omani citizens can stay in Bosnia for a maximum of 90 days.
Nine other countries that have no visa restrictions are Azerbaijan, Barbados, Mauritius, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and the UAE, in addition to Bahrain, Antigua, Bermuda, the Bahamas and Seychelles. The number of countries whose citizens can travel to Bosnia without a visa has now risen to 72.
Lifting of visa restrictions is aimed at boosting tourism as well as trade and investments.
According to travel agencies, Bosnia is a promising tourist destination and a number of Omanis have been visiting there lately.
