Official presentation of the new system of internal communication within the institution was held yesterday at the Parliament of FB&H. This system, intranet, is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This is the first institution to introduce this unique internal system of communication, with the aim of generating bigger savings and improving performance.
The modern communication system was activated on January 2016, thanks to the donation within the Strengthening Governing Institutions and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SGIP), which is financed by the USAID.
Intranet is a unique communication system within a certain institution which is, in this case, purposefully adjusted to the operations of the Parliament of FB&H. It is a platform which enables networked, fast, secure and efficient official communication within one institution and, as such, represents an internal communication channel which accelerates communication between different organizational units in both houses of the Parliament of the FB&H.
“By introducing intranet in the Parliament of the FB&H we have fulfilled another segment of reform of public administration. Besides that, it is important to highlight that we will accelerate communication and increase productivity of the work of this institution,” stated Edin Mušić, Chairman of the Parliament of the FB&H.
This unique system of internal communication has been introduced in both houses of the Parliament of the FB&H. Speaking for the media, the Chairwoman of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FB&H Lidija Bradara pointed out that, thanks to this new system, protocol and archiving will also be accelerated, as well as the work of the registry office.
