B&H Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić received Letters of Credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jan Pšenica.
Chairman Komšić on this occasion to the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic wished a successful mission and expressed hope that it will continue the good cooperation between two countries. They discussed bilateral relations between two friendly countries, which are good, without any outstanding issues, and was jointly concluded that there is a potential for further improvement of economic cooperation. Between the two countries there is a sufficient intensity of bilateral contacts at high and highest levels, which contributes to the development of overall bilateral relations.
Speaking of activities related to the process of accession of B&H to Euro-Atlantic integration, Komšić said that the experience of Slovakia, which is a member of the EU and NATO, is very important for the country.
The Ambassador Pšenica said that Slovakia wants to see the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European path and the experience of Slovakia in European Union can serve as an example to B&H. He said that the future of B&H and the region of the Western Balkans is EU and NATO. On this occasion, he promised his full interest and involvement in the development of good bilateral relations between the two countries, was announced from B&H Presidency.
