Director of the Directorate for European Integrations of BiH, Edin Dilberovic, stated that the process of answering a total of 655 follow-up questions to the Questionnaire of the European Commission has started.
Dilberovic confirmed that all the questions were translated from the English language and they were included in the information system that was used during the process of answering 3.242 questions of the Questionnaire of the European Commission.
“The entire process started at the end of the last week. Institutions received all the required access data and some of them have already started preparing their contributions,” said Dilberovic.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, and member of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic, submitted answers to the Questionnaire with 3,242 questions that BiH received back in December 2016 to the President of European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
More than 1,100 representatives of all levels of government of BiH worked on answers to the Questionnaire of the European Commission for preparation of the opinion on the application of BiH for EU membership. Answers to Questionnaire were written on more than 20,000 pages.
The European Commission sent 655 follow-up questions to the Questionnaire on June 20, and the deadline for answers is three months.
The largest number of follow-up questions refers to political criteria and there is 106 of them, and they are followed by economic criteria with 33 questions, social policy and employment with 43 questions, justice, freedom and security with 36 questions, and transport policy with 39 questions.
