Sarajevo Olympic mountains were recently visited by the group of mountaineers in order to caption their beauty through photos and videos, and to bring them closer to lovers of nature that haven’t chance to visit them earlier in winter conditions.
Braco Babic, Kemaludin Mutapcic and Zaim Besovic, have visited all four Olympic mountains (Trebevic, Bjelasnica, Jahorina and Igman) on that occasion, and tours have lasted for five hours with breaks for rest.
The mountain and travel guide Braco Babic wrote on his FB profil that the recent climb to the highest peak of Bjelasnica-The Observatory (2.067 meters above the sea level) led through the circular route Babin Do – Stini Do – Stina Lokva – the top of the Observatory – Kolijevka – Babin Do.
In the video that is made by Zaim Besovic, Babic explains from the top of Bjelasnica that, when the weather is clear, the most of mountains in BiH and Montenegro can be seen.
The climb of that team to the highest peak of Jahorina- Ogorjelica (1.916 m/asl) led throuh the circular route Rajska dolina – Banj Glava – Staro plandiste – Debelo Brdo – Dugo Polje –the top Ogorjelica – Sator – Rajska dolina.
The circular route to Igman led through the direction Mraziste – Hrasnicki stan – Malo Polje – Veliko Polje.
The climb to the highest peak of Trebevic –Sofa (1.629 m/asl) led through the route Brus – Dobra Voda – the top of Sofa- the west ridge – Dobra Voda – Brus.
