The price of oil today fell below 50 USD per barrel, after it exceeded the limit yesterday, and after the fear of reducing the delivery to the global market was decreased.
A barrel of Brent oil from the North Sea is currently selling for 49.26 USD after cheapening of 33 cents, and barrel of crude oil in the United States costs 49.12 USD, which is 29 cents less than yesterday.
Barrel exceeded the limit of 50 USD yesterday for the first time this year, as a result of disruptions in supplies from Canada and Nigeria, as well as the reduction of supplies in the United States.
Analysts say that the level of 50 USD is important from an economic standpoint, because it encourages producers to re-start delivering larger quantities.
At the beginning of 2016, a barrel cost less than 30 USD, but is still half the price than in mid-2014, when it cost more than 100 USD.
