The award ceremony for the best students in the FBiH, within which 73 students received the one-time cash award in the amount of 2000 BAM, who achieved the best average in the academic year 2015/2016, was held at the Cultural Center in Mostar.
Students who were awarded yesterday, were nominated by the faculties that operate within the public high education institutions in the FBiH (Universities of Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica and Bihac, and the University of Dzemal Bijedic in Mostar and the University of Mostar) and one from each faculty, and the awards were provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of FBiH from the Budget of the FBiH for 2016. All nominations were carefully controlled and prizes were awarded to the best students in the FBiH.
Awards are very important to students, because they recognize their effort that they invested during their studies.
“This award means a lot to me. It was actually my dream. It is a great incentive for me as well as for many young students, to fight and to always strive for perfection. What encourages me to learn is my will and persistence. You need to work hard and learn how to succeed in life. No one’s success is random, it takes a lot of sacrifice and dedication in order to succeed,” said Dragan Kordic, a student of FPMOZ in Mostar and one of the awarded students.
“We want to send a message to all young people that hard work is always recognized and the best achievements are rewarded. I would like to express our gratitude to all public higher education institutions and professors as well as students, who invest a lot of effort and commitment in their daily work in order for students to achieve the best results”, said Minister Dilberovic.
The Ministry of Education and Science of FBiH did not forget disabled students (18 students) who are studying at public higher education institutions in the FBiH, in the total amount of 47,000 BAM.
