Autumn in SPARK is full of interesting events, including the new hackathon. Programmers and people with new ideas, pay attention!
The hackathons we have organized so far have lasted for 24 hours, while Innovation Hack is a 48-hour, award-winning competition where contestants can demonstrate their IT skills in developing innovative sports data solutions. The partner in crime is Sportradar, an international organization that employs more than 1900 people in more than 30 locations around the world, and successfully runs the unique intersection of sports, media and betting industry.
Let’s go back to the competition. Around 40 contestants divided into teams will work on developing products and services (eg mobile, web and desktop applications). There are cash prizes of a total of 8900 BAM, and competitors can choose between four challenges: Sports betting, gamification of sports data, future sports data and sports data journalism
All challenges will be explained in more detail over the next few weeks via blog posts. Applications will open on 15 September, until then contestants can gather the team or come up with an idea. Follow us on the website for the news or subscribe to the Innovation Hack newsletter.
