Authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) seized cigarettes and cut tobacco worth 35,000 BAM in three separate actions in the territory of the city of Tuzla and Bratunac municipality in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Based on previous operational knowledge in the Tuzla area, officials found 1,380 packs of cigarettes and 10 kg of fine-cut tobacco in possession of one person.
“In an action in the territory of Tuzla, authorized ITA officers, in cooperation with the Cantonal Inspection Directorate of Tuzla Canton and Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, found a large quantity of cut tobacco and cigarettes that were not legally labeled. There were 1,140 packs of cigarettes, 5385 hand-rolled cigarettes and 18 kg of fine-cut tobacco,” the statement said.
