Ambassador of Germany to Bosnia-Herzegovina Margaret Uebber and Ambassador of France Guillaume Rousson jointly visited the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and discussed future cooperation with Minister Ankica Gudeljevic on Wednesday.
Minister Gudeljevic informed the Ambassadors about the competencies of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and interlocutors emphasized partnership between Germany and France in support of the work of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), modeled on the Franco-German Youth Office with a view to youth cooperation and networking in the Western Balkans.
Ambassadors and the Minister agreed that RYCO is doing its job well and that support should continue.
For her part, minister Gudeljevic emphasized that the focus of her work would be to establish the best possible communication with representatives of all levels of government in BiH in all areas where the Ministry of Civil Affairs plays a coordinating role. She cited a recent session of the BiH Conference of Ministers of Health as a good example, discussing measures to prevent the spread of corona virus.
During the meeting, they all discussed education, i.e. opportunities to apply good experiences of other countries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to enhance cooperation in sports.
