The Ambassador of Romania to BiH FIlip Teodorescu was in Srebrenica for the first time yesterday, where he visited the Memorial Center in Potočari and paid tribute to the victims.
The Romanian Ambassador spoke with the Mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković.
“We talked about issues that are important to Srebrenica and of future meetings. The Mayor of Srebrenica offered pragmatic solutions and in the future we can develop good projects with partners in Romania. I look forward to the proposals from Srebrenica so that in the future we could have better cooperation’’, said Ambassador Teodorescu.
The Mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković thanked the Romanian Ambassador for the visit and expressed readiness for cooperation.
“The Ambassador was interested in what he can do for our municipality. I spoke to the Ambassador about the conference that we would organize this year and it will be centered on our needs’’, said Ćamil Duraković.
He said that at the meeting they spoke of infrastructure projects that the Romanian Embassy could offer assistance with, and of joint projects in the area of economy, the construction of facilities in industrial zones, where potential investors could offer locations for use.
