Amazon has launched its video-on-demand service Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories of the world, now including BiH.
Prime Video will be available for a price of 2.99 USD, or in case of BiH and other European countries 2,99 EUR per month in the first half of the year.
After the first six months of using Amazon Prime Video, the price will amount to 5.99 EUR per month. Also, before you try anything, Amazon will provide seven-day trial use.
By getting into 200 countries and territories, Amazon Prime Video is becoming more widespread than Netflix, which is currently available in 130 countries worldwide. In both cases, the great unclaimed “piece” of the planet is the People’s Republic of China which keeps its internet far from those influences of Western content creators which it considers to be inadequate for the Chinese society.
However, this does not prevent the Chinese to get pirate versions of shows such as “House of Cards” and “Sherlock”.
Amazon currently has the advantage in the audience, while Netflix has prevailed in the content. So far it is known that Amazon will have shows and series such as “Mozart in the Jungle”, “Transparent”, “The Man in the High Castle” and “The Grand Tour” as part of their offer.
