The domestic logistics company A2B Express Delivery will exchange all their cars with greener ones that do not pollute the environment by 2015. The amount of investment will amount to around 2.5 million KM.
The ecological program of its kind was launched at the level of the whole group A2B Express Delivery and in talks is the acquisition of new delivery vehicles, while vehicles that run on gasoline will run on gas.
The heads of the company on this step have decided to be aware of the facts that the combustion of fuel in the engines of motor vehicles result in exhaust gases that hold more than one hundred different compounds harmful to the environment and human health, and that from a list of the cities with the most polluted air in Europe, BiH is at the top of the list.
The public is already aware of the fact that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) produces 50 percent fewer emissions of harmful exhaust gases unlike conventional fuel. Hence, the use of gas-powered vehicles of the A2B company improves the quality of life and in that way contributes to the reduction of surface emissions of harmful substances.
On that occasion, the Director of A2B Express Delivery Ahmed Podbićanin stressed the importance of social responsibility and ecological awareness.
‘’One of the steps to improve the quality of life is to encourage society to move in the direction of using new environmentally friendly vehicles. The state should find models similar to those that already exist in EU countries and to encourage the buying of cars that protect the environment’’, said Podbićanin.
