Gojko Cimirot, the former player of FC Leotard and FC Sarajevo, achieved the biggest transfer in the history of the BHT Premier League. National team member of B&H signed for Greek PAOK on Monday.
Although there were rumors on the value of the transfer, a source close to FC Sarajevo revealed that the overall transfer cost almost 2 million EUR. This is the biggest transfer of one player from B&H football leagues.
With the realization of this transfer, maroon team raised the rating of the league and the start of the production of players is expected in our country. After all, B&H clubs can only exist like that. The most responsible person for this outcome is the sports director of FC Sarajevo, Abdullah Ibraković.
Also, coach of the national football team of B&H, Mehmed Baždarević, is responsible for the fact that the transfer is realized to the mutual satisfaction, since he spoke with Igor Tudor, strategist of PAOK.
He emphasized that Cimirot is one of the best young players in the BHT Premier League and that he counts on him in the future as the member of national team.
