Regional agency “New Moment” won the fourth and this time the golden lion in Cannes for the interreligious project “The ONE – One Book for Peace” by Mirnes Kovac in the category Design.
After winning the two bronze and one silver lion in the categories Print, PR and Promo & activation for the project “The ONE – One Book for Peace”, agency New Moment won gold this time!
The project “The ONE – One Book for Peace” was created by New Moment and Y&R Dubai, and it was created for the Inter-religious Council in BiH, with the aim of destroying religious prejudices and raising awareness of the importance of mutual understanding and inter-religious dialogue. “One Book for Peace” gathers teachings of the holy books of the Bible and the Qur’an, by showing how much the religious learning of these books are similar through a comparative presentation of their verses. The main purpose of this book is to actually show the similarities between these two religions, to further intensify dialogue between religions, to encourage the conversation between ordinary people and to contribute to the establishment of peace.
“This is a historic moment for our profession. This award shows that everything is possible and that success on the global scene can be achieved with ideas and creative work even if we are coming from our region. The most important are emotions, energy, and people who are starting everything. This is a collaboration of New Moment, which is a regional company that has a Balkan spirit and heart. The support from our partners from Y&R Dubai was very important for this success. I was very proud of the honest applause that we received at the Grand Palais in Cannes. Colleagues from all over the world are just delighted with the project, which is local but it resembles with the whole world today,” said Zarko Sakan, director of the New Moment New Ideas Company.
