In the period January-February 2017, export amounted to 1 billion 543 million BAM, which is 14,2% higher than in the same period of 2016, and import amounted to 2 billion 407 million BAM, which is 11,5% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 64,1% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 864 million BAM. Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 211 million BAM, which is 36,7% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 273 million BAM, which is 2,5% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 77,5%. Export to EU countries amounted to 1 billion 150 million BAM, which is 10,7% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 1 billion 440 million BAM, which is 8% higher than in the same period of last year.
