Preparations of the first women expedition from Bihac on Mont Blanc in 2017 are currently taking place, and it will be consisted of Adalina Brzovic and Snjezana Basic, while the leader of the expedition will be Jasmin Klicic. All three of them are members of the mountaineering society “Pljesevica” Bihac.
Besides the above-mentioned expedition, according to Jasmin Klicic, members of this society are planning several mountaineering expeditions this year.
Among them will be a hike in February on Prenj – Cetina 1,992 m / n, then in March to Troglav 1,913 m / n, in April to Cvrsnica – Veliki Vilinac 2,116 m / n and in May on Biokovo – St. Jure 1762 m / n in Croatia.
Also, as Klicic stated, Bihac mountaineers this year are planning hikes to Maglic 2,386 m / n – the highest peak of BiH, then Grintovec 2,558 m / n – Slovenia, in September on Durmitor Bobotov Kuk 2,523 m / n in Montenegro, and they are planning hikes in other months during the year as well.
Member of “Pljesevica” Bihac, Jasmin Klicic, already won the top of Mont Blanc in 2012, and in the winter hike in March 2016, and he is also the first citizen of Bihac who was at the top of the European continent in 2013, and it was Elbrus on Caucasus whose height is 5,642 meters.
