The snow, which has been falling for several days already, delighted all tourist workers who invested a lot of effort in the preparations for the winter tourist season. Namely, the capacities are already filled on almost all BiH mountains thanks to New Year holidays and the snow.
When it comes to skiing on Jahorina, the ski lift and baby lift Poljice and the trail Skočine are in function as of today.
“On the Skočine trail we have excellent skiing conditions thanks to both natural snow and artificial snow which was made prior to the opening of the winter tourist season on Jahorina,” said Ivana Lizdek, expert associate for public relations, marketing and sales of the Olympic Center Jahorina.
A novelty on Jahorina this year is the amusement park Pogorjelica, which has a moving track and tubing trail, and a polygon for beginners. Price of daily ticket is 5 BAM and that is the content which is expected to attract the youngest population this year.
According to Asja Hadžiefendić-Mašić, spokeswoman of the Tourist Board of the Sarajevo Canton, winter centers are well-organized.

The height of snow cover on Bjelašnica and Igman is between 10 and 15 centimeters. Night skiing on Bjelašnica begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 9 pm.
