Harun Išerić is the best student of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo. Because of the successful results and the average grade of 9.98 during his studies, this academic year he will be rewarded with the Golden Badge of the University of Sarajevo.
Išerić completed undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo with the average grade of 9.98, with 47 As out of 48 exams. This year’s graduation ceremony will be held at the Olympic Hall Juan Antonio Samaranch and Harun says that the proper distribution of priorities was the main thing he did during studies.
“You must set your priorities on time and accept the fact that you must sacrifice some things in order to achieve a goal. During my studies, I participated in different extracurricular activities and the non-governmental sector and, in this regard, I think the right distribution of time is the second important thing. Success will not be achieved if we give up on the first step, therefore persistency and work must lead to the achievement of the set goals,” said Harun and added that his life mission is to learn and study the world he lives in.
The young and prospective law student highlights that it is easier to meet the world if you study it.
Apart from the educational aspect, Harun believes that informal education creates a platform for establishment of bridges and dialogues among students of different universities in BiH, as well as for the exchange of experiences and, eventually, the breaking of certain prejudices.
Harun told the future and current students to never be satisfied with the lowest passing grade and to strive to more than just passing the exams.
“Be aware that the difference between grade D and A is one hour of studying. Don’t be average – employment institutes are full of those who are average,” Harun Išerić concluded.
