The 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival was closed last night with an official award ceremony in the National Theatre.
Director of SFF Mirsad Purivatra thinks that this year’s edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival is one of the best so far.
“I think the selectors made an exceptionally good program. The best overview of world film, the best overview of regional film, and the audience recognized that. Generally, in terms of program the festival was amazing,” Purivatra said.
Purivatra emphasized that this year’s SFF had some new projects such as True Story Market and CineLink TV drama project.
“These projects are a step forward in the development of audiovisual sector not only in BiH, but in the entire region,” Purivatra says.
When one festival ends, preparations already begin for the next one, which will be opened on August 11, 2017.
For the Director of SFF Mirsad Purivatra, that is a new challenge – to make the next festival better than the previous one.
“We do not give up on our concept, and the concept is that this is an international festival with a focus on the region,” said Purivatra.
