Inventors from Bosnia and Herzegovina received numerous awards at the 8th International Exhibition of Inventions in Kunshan, China.
A special recognition from the Association of Inventors of Saudi Arabia – geometrical creation by Leyla Alktani PhD in Fine Arts went to students from a college in Una Sana Canton in Bihać Amina Hajdarević and Jasna Nuhić who presented a device for converting plastic waste into oil.
From the host of the exhibition, the China’s Association of Inventors, they received the silver medal.
Also, silver medals went to Zoran Dujaković from Banja Luka for a detection system for permanent and field detection of persons, animals and objects, without risks for the guide or the tracker dog and Branko Milićević from Posušje who presented a welding mask with a round changing-color window.
Special recognition went to innovator Belma Selimović from Sarajevo for innovation in underwear – a guard for genitals.
Cubes for protection from river flooding, invented by Sanel Alagić from Bugojno and Mevlin Hadžiosmanović from Visoko were awarded the bronze medal.
The medals also went to a dentist Džemal Muftić for an implant for extension of root canals in teeth, then to Sašenko Sadiković from Ljubuški for a parachute for beginners training and Senad Šećerbegović for the safe skateboard.
Significant international awards went to the Secretary General of the Association of Innovators of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Director of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations – IFIA Husein Hujić, said the BiH Inventors’ Association.
