Sarajevo – The 3rd module of the five days lasting Journalism Academy 2014, within the regional project “Promotion of freedom of expression and professional journalistic standards” began today at Jahorina and is organized by the Association of B&H Journalists and the Council of Europe, supported by the Government of Norway.
“The 3rd module is dedicated to the education of editors and journalists of public services, commercial journalists, printed media, news portal and press agencies in order to balance the reporting during the pre-election campaign.” – said for Fena Agency the general secretary of the Association of B&H Journalists Borka Rudić.
She explained that it is an activity that the journalists are doing for the last 4-5 years in order to ameliorate skills and knowledge during the media covering of pre- election campaigns in a way which ensures good and quality information about the political parties and candidates for the citizens.
She added that, with this 3rd module, they will complete this year’s cycle of education and that they intend to continue this form of journalist’s education about topics important for editors and journalists across B&H outside the institutions.
