The Head of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Mission to the European Union in Brussels, Ambassador Emina Merdan met with Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn on Tuesday.
During the meeting, interlocutors discussed European Council conclusions reached by the EU failing to give a green light to the launch of accession negotiations for North Macedonia and Albania.
It was emphasized that optimism and conviction in favor of Euro-integration processes in the region should not be lost, but rather that the countries must work on strengthening them.
Ambassador Merdan informed Hahn about the recent activities and decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the adoption of the Action Plan for the implementation of priorities from the European Commission’s Analytical Report, which is an integral part of the Commission’s Opinion on BiH’s application for EU membership.
Namely, is includes a comprehensive all-state planning document with 729 planned measures, with 115 priorities, in whose drafting 233 institutions took part from all levels of government in BiH.
