The 13th International Tourism Fair “List” was officially opened in Lukavac and will last until Sunday, May 9th.
In his opening speech, the director of the Fair Izet Nuhanović said that the fair has long time ago gained the “international” reputation, since along with the domestic ones, the business partners from countries of the region and the European Union, as well as the representatives of some countries that are-only geographically-more distant from BH area, come to this fair. He also said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a very interesting tourist destination with exceptional natural beauty, cultural and historical values, and favorable climatic conditions.
“This is a place where different cultures, religions and traditions intersect, and that gives an increased value to the creation of a specific tourist product”, said Izet Nuhanovic, the director of the fair “List”.
“The aim of our fair of tourism, for the thirteenth year in a row, as well as the aim of all the employees and staff in tourism and related economic activities, is to create a framework for the further development of quality tourism offer, and to increase the competitiveness of BH tourism in world markets of tourism demand and capital investment”, added Nuhanović.
“Our fair truly is an international presentation of business-tourist nature that belongs to everyone. The fairs are becoming increasingly important for a successful business communication, they have good perspectives, and they are extremely important place of presentations and business opportunities for the exhibitors of new technologies and business trends” said Dževad Mujkić, the Mayor of Lukavac. He said that the invested effort, knowledge and commitment have made the “List” fair one of the most important fairs in B&H, which encourages entrepreneurs, craftsmen and tourist workers to meet, connect, unite and expand their cooperation.
“The only chance to avoid a long-term crisis is the economic growth. There lies the importance of this fair”, said Mujkić.
