According to several English media, Manchester United will not offer a new contract to injured striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
During a match in the European League against Anderlecht, thirty-two-year-old Ibrahimovic has suffered a serious injury. Namely, he has to be absent for at least nine months, and this is the main reason why Manchester United will not offer a new contract. Instead, the club from Old Trafford will provide him with all possible recovery help even when his contract expires.
Manchester United had the option of extending Zlatan’s contract for another year, but they will not use this option, but instead, Ibrahimovic will be given assistance during rehabilitation. In this way, the club will thank him for his 28 scored goals. Ibrahimovic helped the team to win the League Cup and Charity Shield and help to get close to the final of the European League.
“Zlatan will have support from the club during rehabilitation, even after his contract expires” is stated from the club.
