Military Orchestra of the Armed Forces of BiH and the military orchestra of the Royal Air Force Regiment in the United Kingdom (UK) held a joint concert yesterday night in the hall of the Armed Forces of BiH.
The concert program included a variety of musical styles, from hymns of BiH and the UK, military marches, traditional classical music of both countries as well as pop, jazz and contemporary rock music.
The concert, which was organized by the Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces of BiH and the Office of the Military Attache of the British Embassy in BiH, was orchestrated by Colonel Tomislav Susac from BiH Armed Forces and Lt. Tom Rodda from the UK.
Many years of successful bilateral military cooperation of military orchestras of BiH Armed Forces and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland so far has resulted in numerous performances, study visits, training in music performance and marching, and broad cooperation with other military orchestras in the region.
The concert was attended by high military representatives of NATO and the European Union, operational commander of EUFOR, General Adrian Bradshaw, deputy commander of European NATO forces General James Everard and the commander of NATO HQ in BiH, Brigadier General Gizelle Willz.
Moreover, the highest representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the BiH Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Marina Pendeš and Chief of the Joint Staff of the BiH Armed Forces Lieutenant General Anto Jeleč, as well as representatives of the British Embassy in BiH, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Security, diplomatic, military and diplomatic and representatives of international organizations and Herzegovina.
